Islam is a complete code of life which is enclosed in the Holy Book of Allah SWT, i.e. Quran Majeed. The Sunnah of the Holy Prophet ﷺ also provides some essential guideline of leading a rightful life on earth. Combining these two, a Muslim is required to base its worldly existence according to these instructions, whose end result is great reward from Gracious God in paradise. Some of the essential parameters include believing in One Allah and that Hazrat Muhammad ﷺ was His Final Apostle, carrying out other Islamic obligations like offering Salah (Daily Prayers), keep fasting in Ramadan, give Zakat (Charity and alms) and accomplishing Hajj (Grand Pilgrimage of the Holy Kaaba).
“Allah has promised those who believe and do righteous deeds [that] for them there is forgiveness and great reward.” [Quran, 5: 9]
Muslims are also required to adhere to all Allah`s instructions in social and daily life like earning income from just sources, eating Halal food, making and keeping good relations with other, showing kindness to younger and respecting the elders, obeying parents and many other such responsibilities. By fulfilling all the prescribed spiritual and communal duties, the believers have been given glad tidings of high-quality returns and blessings in the hereafter. Some of the assured rewards for Muslims in Jannah (Paradise) by Allah SWT are as follows:
i) Permanent Residence in Gardens of Heaven
The proper disciples of Islam who live their life on earth according to the guidelines of Allah SWT and His Messenger ﷺ have been guaranteed a highly blessed place in Jannah where they will live in gardens containing tremendous amount of pleasures.
“Allah has promised the believing men and believing women gardens beneath which rivers flow, wherein they abide eternally, and pleasant dwellings in gardens of perpetual residence; but approval from Allah is greater. It is that which the great attainment is.” [Quran, 9: 72]
It shows that the Most Beneficent congratulates the believing Muslims on attaining the gardens in paradise in which rivers will flow and they will live forever in it. To protect yourself from the fire of hell you should read surah Mulk of Holy Quran which saves from the suffering and punishment of grave.
ii) Living Without any kind of Grief
The problem with worldly life is that it gives humans both good and bad times to face. But that will not be the case with existence in Heaven as Allah SWT says:
Indeed, those who have said, "Our Lord is Allah” and then remained on a right course - the angels will descend upon them, [saying], "Do not fear and do not grieve but receive good tidings of Paradise, which you were promised. [Quran, 41: 30]
It means that those who remained steadfast on their Islamic convictions in this world, they will be having life in paradise in which there will no sorrow or anguish for them. Reading Holy Quran on daily basis keeps you away from the grief and sorrows. Surah yasin the heart of Quran is glorious surah of Holy Quran which if read for the purpose of pleasuring Almighty Allah then all of his sins are forgiven.
iii) Living ceaselessly youthful and Without Disease
The Holy Prophet ﷺ said:
“When the dwellers of Jannah enter Jannah, an announcer will call: (You have a promise from Allah that) you will live therein and you will never die; you will stay healthy therein and you will never fall ill; you will stay young and you will never become old; you will be under a constant bliss and you will never feel miserable” (Sahih Muslim)
The above mentioned Hadith indicates that true Muslims will never become old in paradise nor they will have any kind of illness.
These and many other rewards for believing men and women described in Quran and Hadith lead one to freshening up of its Imaan (Faith) and arouses love for attaining these never-ending blessings of Paradise.
